Grounded Jeremiah 29:11 started as a Facebook group with fewer than twenty women at the height of a global pandemic during the fall of 2021. Today, it has grown into a virtual ministry made up of thousands of women of different backgrounds, ages, and races. The ministry has a strong presence on several social media platforms, including a private Facebook group. What began as an outlet for inspirational quotes and scriptures has transformed into a haven that brings women together from around the world. While it is based in Orlando, Florida, Grounded has a strong following in Bolivar, Missouri, and it is represented in 43 states, Puerto Rico, and countries such as the United Kingdom, Canada, France, New Zealand, Myanmar, Thailand, South Africa, and the United Arab Emirates.
Grounded is committed to showcasing the talents, gifts, and works of Christian women and has helped dozens of women improve their branding strategies, strengthen their online presence, and create opportunities for them to connect, expand their audiences, and receive recognition. The ministry was founded by Dr. Aleta V. Ashford and continues to uplift and encourage women daily by spreading the love of Jesus Christ and sharing the stories of inspiring women who have overcome their fears and stepped out on faith to do what God has called them to do.
Since its launch in 2021, Grounded has flourished into a full-blown operation that includes a book club, anthology series, podcast, and an affiliate page highlighting the Women of Grounded. The Grounded Presents Podcast was introduced in November of 2021 and is now available on iTunes, Spotify, iHeartRadio, and Amazon Alexa. The Grounded Presents Anthology series, introduced in 2023, recently released its first book, "Defining Moments: Stories of Strength, Courage, and Hope." The book is currently available on Amazon.com and Barnesandnoble.com.
Grounded continues to prioritize issues impacting women at the heart of its mission. The ministry has created an environment for women to connect, share, and exchange ideas on a wide range of topics, including faith, family, health, mental health, relationships, fitness, self-care, grief, trauma, recovery, business, marketing, and entrepreneurship. Through its podcast, daily inspiration, and collaborations with other ministries, Grounded continues to educate, inspire, and create a positive space for women to come together and grow with God at the center of it all!
