Grounded Jeremiah 29:11 is looking for its next group of authors to participate in an anthology project over the course of the next few months. "Beyond Limits: Stories of Victory, Triumph, and Success" will chronicle the stories of 12 inspiring women who were able to overcome insurmountable obstacles to achieve success and triumph. This project seeks to showcase women from diverse backgrounds who have faced various challenges. Despite the odds stacked against them, these women refused to give up and instead found the strength to keep going, pursuing their dreams and achieving extraordinary success. If you have a story of hope and triumph to share, we invite you to join us on this rewarding journey.
The answer is no. In fact, there is a strong consideration for women who are first-time authors. This opportunity is a great way for aspiring female authors to gain valuable experience before publishing their own individual work.
For the book, each author is required to provide their original work that spans between 7 to 10 pages. This should include their individual chapter, as well as a one-page bio.
The anthology group utilizes a private Facebook Group as the primary mode of communication. Additionally, authors are required to participate in a kickoff meeting at the project's start, as well as a closeout meeting before the book release. To partake in the project, authors must be available and willing to join the private Facebook group and engage with other authors involved.
Yes, there is a non-refundable fee of $300 that goes toward the following:
Fees can be paid upfront or in two payments of $150. All fees must be paid by April 1st, 2024. Fees are nonrefundable. Available spots for Grounded Anthology project are first come first serve.
Grounded Presents Defining Moments: Stories of Strength, Courage, and Hope is currently available on the Amazon and Barnes and Noble websites. Though it is not required, all authors are encouraged to purchase a copy of the previous anthology to get an overall feel for the project. The links are below.
Though authors are not required to be members of Grounded Jeremiah 29:11, this project is a faith-based initiative that is open to Christian women. Writers who participate in this project are expected to write from a position of faith that should be reflected in their writing.
The central theme of the book is "Victory, Triumph, and Success." Your chapter should focus on an event in your life that led to your stepping out on faith and overcoming fear. The book aims to inspire readers with real-life stories of victory and triumph. However, it is not intended to cover stories of healing from trauma or past relationships, or overcoming illness, abuse, addiction, grief, or near-death experiences. While you may reference these as challenges you faced and overcame, they should not be the main focus of your chapter. The mood of the book is one of determination and perseverance, so be sure to emphasize those qualities in your story.
Please be advised that the details of your chapter should not be so specific that it implicates any person, place, or entity. Chapters should not exceed 10 pages based on the template provided.
